About Us

 Born and raised on an Iowa farm, I learned the value of hard work and determination.  We had dogs, cats, chickens, pigs and Polled Herefords and I knew how to drive a tractor before a car.  Just down the road was my future husband, though he didn't know it until I was a senior in high school.  The rest, you might say, is history.  A year after graduating, we knew where we would be for the rest of our lives.....on the farm.  39 years later with 5 awesome kids and 7 amazing grandkids, I am pursuing my hobby turned passion.  When my mom "hovered" over me while working on 4-H projects, I never thought I would appreciate what I learned as much as I do now.   I made clothes for my kids, costumes for school, and now quilts to warm their hearts!  It dawned on me one day that I never got to use any of the quilts I made.  I changed that in a hurry and now my family and farm life are the inspiration behind every quilt I make.  My mom has been a longarm quilter for 25 years and is a great inspiration and source of support, now I own a longarm and help people turn their quilts into heirlooms......it's in our blood and in our hearts!​​​  I hope you enjoy your quilts as much as we do!
